Flocculant particles are used across water treatment, mining, papermaking, and chemical processing. They must be transferred from storage or packing areas to dosing and mixing units without compaction, dust escape, or loss of particle structure. Pneumatic conveying is an enclosed, flexible, and efficient method for moving flocculant granules, pellets, and powders. Our systems preserve product integrity, maintain stable feeding rates, and reduce environmental pollution. We provide complete solutions from unloading and storage to pneumatic transfer, dust collection, and automated control.

Flocculant particles are often hygroscopic, low in bulk density, and prone to caking or bridging. If conveyed too quickly, they can break into fines and create dust hazards; if exposed to humid air, they may stick to pipe walls and block the line. Therefore, custom design is essential. We evaluate bulk density, particle size, moisture content, angle of repose, and abrasiveness. Then we choose positive-pressure or vacuum conveying, correct pipe diameter, air velocity, and solids loading ratio. Sharp bends are eliminated or replaced with long-radius elbows to reduce attrition and blockage. The result is stable, low-damage conveying for every flocculant type.

Our systems include dilute phase and dense phase conveying. Dilute phase uses high-velocity air to suspend particles and suits free-flowing granules over short or medium distances. Dense phase uses low velocity and high pressure to move material in plugs; this is preferred for fragile, abrasive, or moisture-sensitive flocculant particles because it reduces degradation and pipe wear. Pressure, vacuum, or a combination can be adopted. Typical components include Roots blowers, rotary airlock valves, pressure pots, divert valves, vacuum receivers, bag filters, dust collectors, level sensors, and control panels. Every component is sized to balance conveying speed, energy consumption, and product quality.

Customization is the core of our flocculant particle conveying system design. We calculate conveying capacity, pipe length, elevation, available space, and operating pressure. Inlet and discharge can connect to bag dump stations, FIBC bulk bag unloaders, silos, mixers, reactors, or batching scales. The system supports single-line or multi-line conveying with automatic switching, and can be built for dedicated material or multi-product transfer. For frequent product changes, we add smooth internal surfaces, quick disconnects, and removable inspection ports to simplify cleaning. For high-purity applications, stainless steel with sanitary welding is available.

Material handling prevents caking and dust. We supply dry conveying air with dew point control, optional desiccant dryers, and moisture analyzers. Pipelines use long-radius bends and wear-resistant liners. The sealed system operates under negative or positive pressure, so dust does not escape. PLC controls manage startup, conveying, purging, and shutdown. The HMI shows differential pressure, airflow, motor current, valve status, and batch weight. If blockage forms, the PLC reverses air pulses, reduces feed rate, or starts cleaning cycles. Sequential conveying for multiple hoppers maximizes blower efficiency; remote monitoring can connect to DCS or SCADA.

Applications include flocculant preparation systems in municipal water plants, wastewater treatment, industrial effluent treatment, and sludge dewatering. Flocculant particle feeders are also used in mining, oil and gas, textiles, metallurgy, and paper manufacturing. Our pneumatic conveying system delivers precise feeding into aging tanks, dosing units, or screw feeders. By eliminating manual scooping and chemical dust exposure, plants improve operator safety and solution accuracy. Reduced material waste and less bag breakage lower operating costs. We provide engineering, installation, commissioning, and after-sales support for every custom solution.
