The stainless steel acceleration chamber is a critical component in modern pneumatic conveying systems. It is designed to accelerate bulk materials from a slow-moving feed state into a high-velocity conveying stream, allowing powders, granules, and pellets to travel efficiently through pipelines. By using compressed air or inert gas, the chamber creates a pressure differential that propels material forward while minimizing blockages, dropouts, and pipeline wear. This product is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, plastics, mineral, cement, and other industries where hygienic, reliable, and corrosion-resistant material handling is required.

The working principle of the stainless steel acceleration chamber is straightforward yet highly effective. Material enters the chamber through a feed valve or rotary feeder at low velocity. Compressed air is introduced through a series of nozzles or an annular orifice around the material inlet. As the gas expands and accelerates, it creates a low-pressure zone that draws the material into the gas stream. The mixture of gas and solids leaves the chamber through a converging-diverging discharge section, where velocity increases further. The acceleration chamber can be customized to meet a wide range of project specifications. Standard models are available in horizontal and vertical orientations, with inlet and outlet sizes ranging from DN25 to DN300. The length of the acceleration section, the number of air injection points, and the discharge nozzle diameter can all be engineered according to the required conveying velocity and pressure drop. For abrasive materials, the chamber can be equipped with replaceable wear-resistant inserts or ceramic linings. For cohesive or moisture-sensitive products, optional purge ports can be added to prevent caking. The connection types can be flanged, welded, threaded, or clamp-fit, depending on the existing pipeline system and maintenance requirements.
